Cardiff Rubbish; Rhymney Street.

A week or so ago, myself and my housemate decided to walk a different way for a bit of a change, and this is what we were faced with. 

The whole street was covered in piles of rubbish; some of which had obviously been ravaged by animals over night, leaving the street littered with rotting food and empty packages. 

Which in turn means your dodging and weaving between the filth just to get down the road.

The system of rubbish disposal on this street is honestly ridiculous. I obviously understand that having hundreds of bins everywhere, and the difficulty of storing them is a problem, but something needs to be done!

As someone who had never been down that road, or only occasionally used it as a short cut, the quantity of the rubbish is unreal, and the smell was overwhelming, for both residents and those visiting.

1920's Hair Styles

So I had the challenge of doing 3 of my house mates hair!
 They each have very different cuts and hair density, so it was a little big of a challenge. 

( a shameless selfie!)

 For my own hair: 

I used a statement necklace as a hair piece, which I attached by kirby grips

I pinned one side back, and put black roses along the necklace.

For the rest of my hair I added hair extensions (which isn't a new thing) and curled the whole lot!

It was a very simple look style, but I wanted to keep the emphasis on the jewellery!

I found this one more of a struggle just because it was just so short to try and curl!

To begin with I changed the parting to a side one, then curled the whole head (or as much as I could due to length) 

I then brushed out the curls and started to add volume by back combing it.

Before I went any further, I split her hair in half and added the headband.

I found that that made it easier to work the hair around it! I then pinned the larger side parting almost like a quiff.

This is the end result!

This was the quickest hair to do; it took, less than 5minuets.

To begin with I brushed her hair from and inch behind her parting backwards! 
From that I split it up and backcombed it to give it volume. 

I then pinned it down by taking 2 strands from either side and overlapping them with each other. 

This creates a woven look.

I then added the headband on top of the hair at the front and underneath the rest of the hair.

The hair left long I curled on a very low heat (around 180 to 190) this created a very loose wave/curl.

This is the final result!

Another really simple look!

I again gave her a large parting which I volume’d up by back combing it. 

I then curled the whole head and brushed it through, and finished it by adding the headband.

To prevent the curls looking bushy and untamed, I sprayed with Aussie, and brushed Argon oil through; this made it smooth and gave the top the wave.

This is the finished look!

Lush - Toothy Tabs, Chou Chou... I Love You (solid toothpaste)

Lush toothy tabs are solid toothpaste; the one I have chose to try first is Chou Chou...I Love You, 

Which is a rose flavored.

How to: First you have to chew the small "tab" and then just brush like normal toothpaste! 

Simple as that!

I can honestly say I am so impressed by this product! 
My teeth feel amazingly clean and my breath smells beautiful, like roses! 

I expected them to not froth up like normal toothpastes, but surprisingly they did. 

After 4 hours, my teeth still feel clean and fresh and I can still smell the rose essence on my breath, which I normally don't get from regular toothpaste. 

After watching Dental Trial of Toothy Tabs; I am sold!

To know that they are as beneficial to my mouths health as regular toothpaste, just makes them appeal to me more!

The only issue I found was the first bite was a bit salty and unusual but as soon as I got past that, I can honestly say it’s the first time I actually enjoyed brushing my teeth! 

For £2 a box, I will be saving money in comparison to buying name brand tubes of toothpaste! 

I will also be helping the environment with the recyclable packaging.

I personally don’t really like Mint, so having so many options of different flavors is such a nice change,

The only thing I would say is; all they need to do now is create a mouthwash/ chewing gum of the same flavors to continue the theme, and others like me, who are not a big fan of mint, will buy them! 

I am going to give this product!
